Nursery and Kindergarten
The first few years of school are vital in a child’s development
RC International School and Ruam Rudee Learning & Day Care Centres’s Early Years Department offers a well-rounded programme for the Foundation Stage which encompasses Nursery (ages 1.5 to 3), Kindergarten 1, and Kindergarten 2 (ages 3+ to 5).
RC follows the British Curriculum modified to meet the needs of international students from Key Stage 1 to 3. For children ages 3 to 5, the school follows the guidelines set in the "Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage."
The Foundation Stage of the Curriculum consists of six learning areas:
- Personal, Social, and Emotional Development
- Communication Language and Literacy
- Mathematical Development
- Knowledge and Understanding of the World
- Physical Development
- Creative Development
These distinct areas share a set of related early learning goals and are designed to meet the diverse needs of the children. They prepare pupils
for the National Curriculum for pupils ages 5 to 14.
Three programmes are available in Nursery and Kindergarten 1:
- Full-day (Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 2:30 pm)
- Half-day (Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 12:00 pm)
- 3-day programme (Any 3 days, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm)
